What food and drink is available?
A full range of spirits, wine, soft drinks and beers. Independent craft beers are on tap on the ground floor bar. Food is provided by Filthy Buns, more info here https://starofkings.co.uk/food-drinks/
Directions
The nearest tube and overland is Kings Cross St Pancras. The pub is 5 mins walk from Kings Place, York Way.
Do I need to reserve a place?
No, it’s a public event with a plenty of space for 125 people. If you have mobility issues, please let me know.
Behind the bookcase?
Yes. The event is ‘behind the bookcase’ to the right of the bar when you enter the pub.
How much is a copy of the book? How do I pay?
£15. Cardless transactions or cash, which is even better.
How big is the book?
Bring a tote bag to carry the book, it is too large to fit into a jacket pocket.
What time shall I arrive?
Please try and arrive by 7pm, the book readings will start at 7.30pm. Don’t fret if you’re late, you will get in. The first eight people that buy a book at the launch event will receive a limited edition, hand-painted “it’s better to travel” 12″ record cover. Only eight copies available, be quick!
